Going digital means learning digital
Preparing an organisation for the digital age is the no.1 priority for today’s business leaders. And the pressure will only increase. Hiring more and more digital professionals is no longer enough: to stay ahead of the curve, you also need to rescale or upscale your existing workforce.
Our special training programmes smooth the way to digital readiness across your entire organisation. We cover the seven areas essential for any company to survive and thrive in the digital sphere. But that’s not all. We know that soft skills are just as important so we also put emphasis on developing customer focus, managing small-team projects, building a better feedback culture and encouraging self-development throughout the training.
Over the last four years, Codecool, CEE’s leading digital education hub, has helped over 100 companies with training and sourcing new digital talent. And one of the things we’ve learned along the way is that sometimes the best candidates for the most hard-to-fill positions are already working for our clients.

What we offer
Our training programmes can be tailored to any industry, team, level of knowledge or seniority. Experienced Codecool mentors and our regional network of best-of-breed trainers guarantee that we can cover a wide array of technologies and methodologies to suit your company’s exact needs. Trainings are usually delivered in small groups on-site, over 5-10 full-day sessions with one training day a week. We also offer regular follow-ups as well as additional one-on-one and team coaching sessions to help participants stay on track.
One of the biggest challenges companies face is how to visualise data to make better decisions. Built on Python, the Swiss Army knife of programming languages, the training includes data capture, data warehouse management, data analysis, insights gathering and reporting. Participants will learn to use data mining technologies, tools and techniques to turn raw data into actionable metrics.
Ninety percent of the world’s data has been generated in the past few years. But these super-large datasets cannot be processed through traditional computing techniques. That’s where distributed computing and new technologies like Hadoop and MapReduce come in handy. Participants will develop a firm grasp of how the Big Data ecosystem works and how to solve Big Data problems and with what tools.
To be able to fight your enemies, first you need to know exactly who they are. Participants will build solid knowledge of basic information security principles, with a focus on today’s challenges as well as the latest regulations and security issues. The curriculum includes advanced network solutions, log collection and management, visualisation of results and combating threats.
Bridging the gap between software developers and DevOps means creating and improving products faster. Participants will master the principles of continuous development and deployment, automation of configuration management, inter-team collaboration and IT service agility, using the latest DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Jenkins, Puppet and Nagios.
Integrating new hires into a team is no walk in the park, espe cially if they are fresh graduates or juniors. The good news is that anyone can become a good mentor. Participants will develop a whole mentoring toolset and learn how to choose the right approach for any situation, from coaching and mentoring through counselling to training. Our practice-oriented curriculum is built on one-to-one sessions and small-team tasks.
A recent study of over 5,000 IT projects found that project over run often results in a budget overspend of as high as 45%. Using Scrum, participants will be able to avoid these traps so they have a better chance of completing projects on time and on budget. They will learn how to make the most of software development resources as well as understand and deliver real value.
